LAURET, Joseph Elie January 1, 1919 - January 13, 2018
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great, great grandfather, who passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital on Jan. 13, 2018.
Dad often said that he shared over thirty happy years each with the two women in his life, Dorothy(Dolly), Bland and Mary Sanderson, both now deceased. He leaves behind his children Paul(Gwen), Linda(Ken), Roger and Irene(Fred). Step daughter Jane. Grandchildren, Paul(Susan), Dayna(Calvin), Shelley(Jason), Ryan and Chris. Great grandchildren Nicole, Colton, Ayla, Joey, Lennon, Jayden and Shaelyn. Step grandchildren Scotty and Vicky. Great great grandson Braxton.
Dad proudly served in R.C.E.M.E. 1939 - 1963 as a Warrant Officer. After retirement, he worked for the Atomic Energy Plant in Pinawa, MB. For a number of years, he and Mary lived in Orilla, Ont. where they had many dear relatives and friends. During the past two years he resided at Kingsdale Chateau in Kingston and enjoyed the kindness and care that they provided.
We would to thank the Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care Hospital for wonderful care that they provided our father and for the kindness to us, his family.
In accordance with Dad's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life may take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
